She had every reason to stay silent.
A young Israelite girl, taken captive and forced into servitude in the household of Naaman, commander of the Syrian army. Separated from her family. Stripped of her freedom. She refused to let a painful past silence her purpose.
She may have been unnamed
but
she was not insignificant.
She may have been a servant
but
she carried a solution.
She may have been displaced
but
she was still divinely positioned.
She may have known pain
but
pain did not destroy her purpose.
“If only my master were with the prophet who is in Samaria! For he would heal him of his leprosy.” 2 Kings 5:3
God used the voice of a young servant girl to point a powerful commander towards his miracle. You may have gone through something, but something good can still come through you.
Prayer
Everyone arrives carrying something.
Nobody is asked to explain themselves at the door. Women come with things they have carried for years and, more often than not, put them down in a room full of strangers who become sisters.
The same pattern holds wherever this ministry goes. In East London and in the mission field, the hours given to prayer are the hours that change what people go home with.
The conference
What happens when women gather.
Women come from different backgrounds, professions, cultures and generations, hungry for a deeper revelation of God’s Word and an intimate encounter with His presence and power.
Prayer
Standing in the gap for one another. Many arrive carrying something heavy and go home having laid it down.
The Word
Teaching that equips. Not inspiration that fades by Monday, but truth you can build a life on.
Sisterhood
The women you meet sharpen you. Friendships formed here outlast the weekend by years.
Encouragement
Testimonies that remind you nothing is impossible with God, told by women who have lived them.
Networking
Ministry, business and career. Women meet the people God had positioned for them all along.

Beyond the conference
The work does not stop in London.
Rev. Josephine Harrison and the CRMI team carry this same message into the mission field, ministering alongside partner churches in East Africa, praying with congregations and supporting the children’s school.
